PLATO was a great scientist and philospeher, lived in 424 to 347 BC. He was the pupil of Socrates, a great philosopher who founded the western philosophy. Two of the Plato’s concepts which until now become the reference for the world are the concept of republican state (from his book “the Republic”) and also the four key elements which formed the physical: Fire, Water, Soil, and Air. Plato also inherited another great, but controversial thing, which is the story of Atlantis as described in Timaeaus and Critias Dialogue.
